Close call

Yesterday I thought my laptop died. NOT a good feeling. I turned it on and all I got was a black screen with a blinking cursor. My first thought was that I'd lost all of our family pictures, the most precious thing on my laptop. Second, trying to figure out if we could afford a new computer or not and what kind of computer? An Asus, or a Compaq, or an Acer? Geez, I wasn't thrilled about going through all that again. Thankfully, I realized I had left a game in my CD ROM so I popped it out and viola! Everything worked! Talk about a huge relief! Nothing like a scare to get you to realize you need to start saving things that are important, in more than one place. :)
