I like new

For the first time well, ever, I live in a new place. Not "new" meaning I just moved in, but the place itself is new. These apartments are only a few years old and everything in them is new. New light fixtures, new flooring, new carpet, new dishwasher, new oven, and new washer/dryer. I still can't believe that I live somewhere as nice as this. That probably sounds weird, but I'm not used to it. I love it though and it feels good to be here. The one thing I love the most is not having to deal with baseboard heating. I was always worried about it in our old apartment, especially when I babysat. Short of buying safety equipment, like a gate to go around the heaters, I had to always keep a watchful eye out. Now that worry is gone and it's been wonderful! I'm glad we found this place and everything worked out the way it did. We are blessed. :)
