Welcome to the lame taco

That's my blog for you, a lame taco. A whole bunch of random posts thrown together and then wrapped up. I kept telling myself I was going to make my blog more appealing during my break but obviously, that didn't happen. I've been mulling over ideas of how I want to change things. I'd like to have daily themes/topics so you know what to expect when you stop by. That should be put together by this weekend. For today though, let's add to the taco.

First, I haven't exercised in two months. I know, the worst time to stop exercising is during the holidays. But because of the holidays, finals, moving, and a problem with my gym, my time and desire to exercise was nil. Now that school has started, I decided to add an aerobics class to my schedule. I think it will be fun and I'm excited to get some alternative training in. Our class today was short so I headed for the track and walked a few laps, then hit the treadmill for a quick mile run. It felt SO good to run again!

Second, I was looking over the course material for my PTA classes and my stress levels shot through the roof. I began to doubt I could ever accomplish what I needed to and be sane at the same time. Thankfully, with a blessing from my husband I remembered I can do anything with Heavenly Father's help (how easily I forget!). How anyone can go through this program without Him, I'll never know. I'm still a little nervous, but I'm going to take it one day at a time.

Third, I signed the girls up for t-ball in March. They have been asking to play for months and soon they will. I know with my schedule this next statement might sound crazy, but I'm going to be coaching their team. The lady assured me I didn't need prior knowledge, thank goodness because I have none, and they would tell me everything I needed to know. So crazy, maybe, but the real reason I want to coach, other than spending time with the girls, is I get to pick the time and place we practice and that would be easier to work in. Wish me luck, teaching a group of 3-5 year olds should be exciting!

Fourth, I haven't been blogging much, other than random things, because I wanted to "really" be on break these past few weeks. Having to move and all the times we went out of town hasn't made my "break" much of a break. The one thing I really wanted to do was read a few books, 26 actually, so that's what I did with the little free time I had. It was nice to relax a little and read something other than a textbook. But now that school is in, back to work I go. Speaking of which, I need to leave soon.

Thanks to those who keep coming back to my blog, even if it is a lame taco once in awhile. :)

Best Taco I've ever had!

Hey- maybe I should sign Carson up for T-ball. I think he would love it. Get me the details, and I'll talk to James!

We wanted to stop by sometime to see you and the girls, and the new apartment, but then the kids got sick, and so did I. When we start feeling better, we'll give you a call. Hopefully, we can find some time to get together, with school back in and all! Give me a call, okay?

Mmmmmmm ... tacos.

Good luck with your busy schedule! School was tough (I remember it all too well) and I can't imagine juggling that with being a mom (and a blogger!). You are doing great! Good luck with the t-ball coaching; wow!!

And TWENTY-SIX books?? WHOA BABY! You rock. Any good ones you can recommend?

Hey that's cool! I coached my kids 3-5 year old Tee-ball team last year. (Rusty was only 3 months old!) It was great fun. They handed me a pamphlet that explained how to teach little kids to hold the bat and the stance right (step on the bug! etc) I have been on a softball team so it wasn't too much of a stretch for me, but this is SO much easier! Plus we got a free copy of the team photo which basically ended up being a family photo! I always set up my practices 30 minutes before the game, it worked out well. You'll be fine, most importantly have fun with it. Take lots of photos, I'd like to see them when I come visit!

Taco's sound yummy. Maybe for dinner now?

I think your wonderful Michelle! Your super mom. Your girls seem happy, and I know its hard to go to school and still be a mom. I am going this semester too (I know I am crazy with a three week old). Hang in there. Your amazing!
