I'm in unknown territory with potty training Miss A. I think back to how hard it was for Miss J and here is her sister, doing so well. I think she's really close to being potty trained and it hasn't been that long. How is this possible? Where are all the complications, the tears, the frustration? Then I remind myself of something I concluded the last go around with Miss J. I said that I was ready for her to be PT and kept trying over and over again, but in reality, she was not and we kept having problems. That was until I came to my realization and just waited it out and viola, she did great.
So this time, I waited for Miss A to be ready and here she is, doing fantastic! She's been insistent on sleeping in her underwear at night too, but I couldn't pull myself to do it until three days ago when I changed her sheets. I left the mattress protector/pad on and put a towel down (it's a pain to change sheets so frequently during PT). Although expecting accidents, she hasn't had one at night. *Insert wide-eyed smiley here* No one was more surprised than me. I was thrilled don't get me wrong, I just couldn't believe it.
So overall, everything is going well. The only little problem we have is she still poops in her underwear every now and then. But I think soon, she'll get that down too. It may be unknown territory, but I'm stoked at how much easier it is this time. It's amazing what we learn from past experiences that help us now. :)
ETA: Maybe I jumped the gun a little because Miss A had five accidents today. Dang. Well, I'm still hopeful. We all have off days.

Wow; I can't believe it! Way to go, Miss A!!
Sounds like she's doing better than Jason at it lol. Just when I thought he was completely trained, he is back to pooping in his underwear almost every time. No problems peeing in the potty and has had only 2 accidents at night, but the pooping is driving me nuts!
I'm not touch PT with a ten foot pole yet. But good luck with all of it with Miss A!!!
