And "the cookie" wins herself a farmer!

Yep, Miss Brookie-Cookie (ok sorry, but the nickname has stuck with me lol) has won over the farmer. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, I'm referring to the TV show "Farmer Wants a Wife." Did anyone else watch this? Before it started, the previews intrigued me and I was curious.

Hook, line, and sinker, I've watched every episode. You may be asking yourself, why on earth would Michelle like a show like that? Well, I'll tell you.

I will say this before leaving, I had a feeling Matt would choose Brooke over Christa, but I'm not sure either one was a perfect fit for him. (I'd like to say I was, but I'm taken and happily married. ;)

Ok, psych, looks like I have a few more minutes to blog. So, why did I like the show? I was born a country gal and now live in the city. While I like that city life keeps me busy, there are days I miss the peace and quiet, good ol' natured fun, and the laid back personality of the country. So I wanted to see how those city gals would adjust to country life.

I liked watching Matt take the girls and go do activities that are hard to do while living in the city. Like carriage rides, four-wheeling, fishing, watching a movie on the side of the barn and so forth. He was always a gentleman and some days you wonder if there are any of them left. You watch a show like "The Bachelor" and in 5 minutes you have to shut it off because it doesn't stay g-rated for long. But with "Farmer Wants a Wife" it was clean and almost every episode made me laugh because of what the city girls were put up to. (Now checking a cow to see if it was pregnant, that was genius. Gross, but funny!)

So the finale was tonight and yes, Brooke won. Early on, my two favorites were Amanda and Christa. I actually thought Amanda had the best chance of winning, but no. It was a fun show to watch and while I'm curious to know if Matt and Brooke's relationship will pan out, I'm not holding my breath.

Anyone else have thoughts on this show?
