Too slow

Recently, my hubby has been kind enough to help out his parents with their computer. They’ve been having so many problems with it lately, mainly that it runs really slow. I know my husband told them to buy some new memory because there’s was almost maxed out, but when it came, it didn’t work. It actually ended up repeatedly shutting down their computer. We’re not sure why, but I think the memory itself may be bad. I hope they get it fixed soon, it’s frustrating to have your computer run so slow.
