Snowy days

Yesterday we received a good amount of snow. At first I couldn't believe it was snowing in October, although we have had snow in June so I wasn't too surprised, but I actually enjoyed it. My girls' faces lit up when the saw the snow and instantly wanted to go make a snowman. Sadly the snow didn't last long before it rained and melted it away. But as we were driving around in our momentary wintery wonderland, it made me realize how much I love this type of year because of all the holidays. The girls are getting so excited and that makes me love it even more. For their sake, I hope we get some more snow soon so we can build that snowman.
