We had a huge fire here in our city yesterday. We could see the flames from our house as it burned across the mountain side. My kids loved seeing the water planes fly over head but at the same time it was a little scary. The fire was only a few miles away from us and has burned over 1500 acres of land. It's still burning today but the local fire department is hoping to have it contained by tonight. Thankfully no one has been hurt. Just be careful this summer with the temperature being so hot.

Large fires like that can be so scary! And the amounts of smoke they put in the air gets hard on the lungs.

Yikes! I'm glad you guys stayed safe. Hopefully not too many homes were destroyed!
