Before school starts again, I have had a summer “to do” list that I want to accomplish. The funny part is that some of my “to do’s” are repeats of what I wanted to do last year. I think my list gets longer every year. :P So far I’ve been able to cross off looking through old baby items, so that’s good. That was a hard one because not only did it bring back memories but also the fact that I have no idea when I will get pregnant again. It’s hard to determine what to keep when you’re not sure of the future. Do you keep the baby bedding? Do you keep the baby toys? How much should you keep? What if it’s a boy next time, should I get rid of it all and free up storage? Anyway, at least it’s done and that feels good. My next projects include better organizing my closet, the office, and the girl’s room. Wish me luck!

I've been tearing my hair out all summer on whether or not to keep the baby things. I know I won't use a crib again, so I can get rid of the sheets and things. (my babes sleep with us, and I gave up pretending that I'll use the crib)
But the bassinet is another story. I love it. I want to keep it. What about the toys? The clothes?
My oldest could have children in the next 3-5 years even, so shouldn't I keep things for grandparenting if not for having more myself?
Tough job.
although I love to throw stuff out, I hate throwing out the baby stuff. I throw any toys and clothes that look worn. But my girls still have the crib under their bed, lol!
