Not ready to let go

I don’t know about you, but I worry that my parents and my inlaws won’t be around for much longer. Over the years, you watch them age and it only makes you more worried. Thinking about them dying, is not a pleasant thought, but I do think about it and how my life would be different. I know my mom has burial insurance to cover her funeral costs, but heck, I’d rather her stick around forever than go dying on me! I know it will happen to all of us eventually, but it’s still sad to think about.

Ugh, this has been on my mind a lot lately too. Both dh's and my parents are in their 60's and 70's. I know my parents have prepared everything, and I know my in-laws have prepared nothing. I hate that.

This is on my mind a lot as well. My dad will be 70 this year but to me my parents still seem 50 because of all that they do. I think one thing they have in their favor is longevity. I have 2 grandparents who are still living and they are 92 and 93. My grandpa died when he was in his 70's but my grandma was 91. As long as my parents are still healthy I hope they stick around for another 20 years. I'm kind of selfish that way. ;)
