Ducky Recipe

I saw this recipe on Lorie's blog and it sounded really good so I tried it. I've made it twice now and it's delicious and pretty easy. We're not big onion fans so I didn't put as much in. I did add a little more cheese and more topping. Thanks Lorie! I will make these again!

Mini Cheddar Meat Loaves
~
1 egg
3/4 c. milk
1 c. (4 oz) chedder cheese grated
1/2 c. quick-cooking oats
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 lb lean ground beef
2/3 c. ketchup
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
~
In a bowl, beat egg and milk. Stir in cheese, oats, onion, and salt. Add beef and mix well. Shape into eights loaves; placed in a greased 13x9 inch baking dish. Combine ketchup, brown sugar and mustard and spoon over loaves. Bake uncovered at 350 for 45 mins or untill the meat is no longer pink and a meat thermometer reads 160. Makes 8 servings

We love these too. i just put in onion powder because my kids realy do not care for onion in stuff. Also, I put them in muffin tins and made small ones. This recipe made 12 muffin size meatloves! My kids loved them and yes they are pretty easy to make and sides are a breeze too. We are having this again this week.
