100 Things About Me

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

I first saw this on Tammy's blog and I told her I would do it. Sorry it took me so long.

This was not easy for me to do, but I hope you all enjoy it. :)

100 Things About Me

1. I love having my music up loud when I'm in the car by myself. I would never do it with anyone else in the car.

2. I have always enjoyed watching Star Trek.

3. I have two children that I could not live without.

4. When I was pregnant with said children, I was sick everyday of my pregnancy.

5. With my oldest, I was sick clear up until the month after she was born. Go figure.

6. I was with some friends and we were wanting to watch a movie. One friend wanted to watch a movie I was not comfortable with and even though we argued about it, I wouldn't let up and we ended up watching something else. Another guy in the group saw this and asked me out on my first date.

7. The above guy turned out to be a pain in later years.

8. I had more fun at my junior prom than my senior prom.

9. I asked someone to senior prom and even paid for everything because I really wanted to go.

10. The guy I took to senior prom turned out to be very self-centered and complimented himself all night. I went home crying.

11. Two other dates I went on for school dances, both guys would not dance with me. One even danced with another girl but not me. (I sure know how to pick em'!)

12. My husband always dances with me and is not self-centered.

13. I played basketball from grade 6 through 8 and then when I was in 10th grade.

14. I've always wanted to play basketball on a college team but I don't think I'm good enough and I definitely don't have the body for it right now! LOL

15. I'm the 7th child of 8 and the oldest of 2 girls.

16. When dh and I were dating, he caught pneumonia and had it for a week. During that week I took his mom out for lunch and we went "ring shopping." :D

17. While my husband, er boyfriend at the time, was sick he wouldn't eat much of anything. I came over and *made* him eat toast. He has never let me live that down.

18. I love playing games.

19. I love to jet-ski.

20. I was head drum major in 9th grade and had to walk backwards for a whole parade.

21. I like having my toenails painted.

22. I'm 5'10 1/2.

23. I was taller than all my teachers and classmates until the 7th grade.

24. I was so tall in first grade, almost 5', that my teacher thought I was in the wrong class.

25. I would love to have a horse ranch.

26. I love taking bubble baths when I get the chance.

27. When dh and I were married, I only had one other brother married, but soon after four other brothers ended up being married.

28. We think my family was surprised I got married before they all did.

29. I enjoy playing sports; tennis, basketball, and volleyball being my favorites.

30. I've always wanted to visit Ireland.

31. When I was in 9th grade, I had one of my essays chosen to be displayed in Boise's state capitol building.

32. My teacher that asked us to write the essay took me aside after class and felt it important to tell me that she did not choose my essay but the principal did, which made me feel a little bad.

33. My favorite comics are Garfield, The Family Circle, and Baby Blues.

34. I've always wanted to be a runner.

35. I was part of the first class that attended the new BYU-Idaho.

36. I worked as an early morning janitor while in school.

37. In 6th grade, I was the one person who always passed my spelling tests. I could go play while everyone else had to retake theirs.

38. In 3rd grade I placed 3rd in a spelling bee.

39. Also in 3rd grade, my class won enough points that allowed us to sleep over at the school. In the morning our principal made us pancakes.

40. After seeing a childbirth movie in 11th grade, I swore I'd never have children and that I would only adopt.

41. In grade school, we had an all school assembly in the gym because there was some important person there. The PE teacher was told to pick one person to come down on the basketball court and play tennis with this person. He choose me out of the whole school. I felt honored.

42. I have moved 10 times since I was born.

43. I love ice cream way too much.

44. I love chocolate way too much.

45. I love dessert way too much.

46. Now you all know why I am way too fat. lol

47. I went back to school after having not gone for 5 years.

48. I took AP History and AP English in high school.

49. I'm not a creative cook but I can follow a recipe.

50. I would prefer to eat out instead of make dinner.

51. I felt like I won a gold medal after having birth for the second time without an epidural.

52. Someday in the near future we want to move to Washington state.

53. I can't stand a messy house, gives me the creeps. I'm always cleaning and organizing something.

54. I don't like liars. If you're afraid to tell me something, it's better to just say it then to lie to me. It hurts worse to have been lied to then to hear someone tell me the truth.

55. We drive a Honda Odyssey and love it!

56. Even though my husband is older, without his gotee people think I robbed the cradle because he looks so young.

57. Brushing teeth is very important to me. I love the feeling of rubbing my tongue across my teeth and not feeling any buildup.

58. I love a good g-rated romance movie.

59. Being a mom is one of my greatest joys. My children light up my life.

60. I like most kinds of music, except rap.

61. I can play the clarinet and a little piano.

62. I feel bad for in adamant objects. For example, my daughter has a doll that you can put in a bag. I leave the bag unzipped part way so the doll can "breathe." I'm silly like that.

63. I prefer chocolate chip cookie dough over actually baking the cookies.

64. I won't wear a shirt more than once if I can help it.

65. One of my oldest's first 5 words was chocolate.

66. I love being a member of the LDS church.

67. I was YW's president at the age of 20.

68. It really bothers me when people burp just to burp and then don't say excuse me.

69. Swimming in anything other than a pool makes me uneasy.

70. I love the holiday seasons.

71. I think everyone should feel special on their birthday.

72. I love the smell of fresh bread.

73. I like the smell when I put pepper on hamburger when it is cooking.

74. A skunk's smell doesn't bother me.

75. My foot size was 11 before I had children. Now it's a 9 1/2.

76. Before high school, most of my friends were guys.

77. I'm known as a peacemaker.

78. I wish I had one friend that I could share everything with and vice versa other than my sweet husband. :)

79. I wish I was closer to my family.

80. My wedding pictures were all messed up.

81. I hated the way my hair was on my wedding day.

82. The first thing I loved about my husband was his hair. :D

83. I lose weight when I'm pregnant instead of gain weight.

84. I love game shows and wish I could subscribe to just the GSN. Anyone remember Press Your Luck and Supermarket Sweep?

85. I'm always concerned about how I come across to people. I mean well but sometimes don't come across that way.

86. I've never been in an accident, had a speeding ticket, or even a warning.

87. I'd love to learn how to swing dance better and learn how to ballroom dance.

88. It drives me nuts to have to carry a conversation by myself. I don't like being the one to ask all the questions.

89. I had 8 teeth pulled so I could get braces, which I loved!

90. I try to be very optimistic.

91. My husband says I have eagle ears.

92. I shed like crazy. When my husband sees a pile of my hair he always says "oh look, a chia pet."

93. I love to use brand new crayons and I can get very protective of them. lol

94. I love to be rubbed and touched. Thank goodness my husband likes that too! lol

95. I am not a pack rat, but my husband is. ;)

96. I want to major in physical therapy.

97. I like wearing fun socks.

98. The first time I saw the ocean was on my honeymoon.

99. My husband and I love to go bike riding.

100. I have a truly blessed life and I count my blessings everyday.

Okay, I was totally giggling at #65 and #92. Your family sounds like fun!

Press Your Luck (#84) was my favorite game show growing up! No whammies!

And my wedding pictures (#80) stink, too. Yes, we got married at the temple. No, we don't have any good pictures of us in front of the temple. That's what happens when you're the guinea pig wedding. At least I have my memories, and my covenants, and my sweet DH. ;-) (I imagine you feel the same).

The thing about your shoe size (#75) is weird (but cool).

And as for #85, you come across as a very sweet, loving person, I think! *hugs*
