I'm becoming more girlie...

Since I've been married, my husband has watched me become more girlie (and he even laughs at this phenomenon!). I was never a tom boy, but I was definitely not a girlie-girl. I think it was mostly because I had six older brothers and no older sister to show me how. But over the years, I've slowly changed my non-girlie habits. I wear a little mascara and blush every now and then. Once in awhile I'll throw on some lip gloss. I may even buy a cute shirt shirt once in awhile. And if you're really lucky, I'll fix my hair. With hair spray and everything!

I also think I'm more girlie because I HAVE girls of my own. They're so cute and I love to accessorize with them! I love picking out girl things for them to play and decorate with. Pinks, purples, and browns are really fun! So yes, I'm turning into a girlie-girl and I'm ok with that (surprised dear husband? lol).

Just as another example, take my blog. I've decided to mess around with different backgrounds and found this one, thanks to Kara and the adorable new look on her blog (really cute Kara!). I'm still fiddling around with it but you can see my love for pinks, browns, and purples is shining through. What can I say, they're girlie colors. And I'm a girl. So there. :D
