I've come full circle

Would you like to hear about my Honda saga? Oh goodie, here it is. :)

Many years ago, in a land far, far away...ok, like three miles away. I met a boy...ok, a man. And we were married. Him, his Honda Accord, and me, with my Ford Explorer. He and I lived happily together for a long time. But the dark and dreary day came to sell the Explorer. Our providence was poor and income was scarce. It needed to be done.

After a couple of seasons, our family grew and a new automobile was due. Oh, our beloved leather interior-sun roof-CD player-car with alloy wheels. Oh the tragedy! How would we ever survive such a devastating blow! But lo and behold! A trade in! The Accord for a Honda Odyssey! The Honda legacy would be carried on!

Many happy days followed and we were fulfilled. But drat! Our beloved happiness was startled at the prospect of an additional car to sustain our earthly duties. What to buy? What to buy! Our bag of coins was running low and sadness filled our home. A Honda...to be or not to be?

Not to be. But rather a Mitsubishi Eclipse that would suffice for our needs. We were glad to continue on with our duties in our fair kingdom. But our joy was short-lived. Mr. Evil Mechanic bestowed a tragic blow. $2,000 in repairs! The ladies in waiting cried "how can this be?!" But we were earnest in our endeavor to find a more suitable car.

Alas, our brothers in the land to the South, they would understand! They would help us! But no, their fiery darts sent us away, never to return. What would we do? We must keep the people's hope alive! We must carry on!

By miracle we trespassed upon our friends further South and they laid out the red carpet. "A HONDA! A HONDA! We have a Honda Accord for you!" they said. Music to our ears! The peasants rejoiced! The Mitsubishi was sent away and the Accord came to tarry with us.

Thusly, we have come full circle. Our Honda's will live on! It has been a blessed day! :D
