A proud moment

Yesterday, for the first time since I started running almost three months ago, my friends and I ran our 5k without stopping. It has taken us almost three months and getting through some rough spots but we did it. I DID IT! I'm so proud of myself for reaching my goal! In the beginning, it was hard to run 60 seconds and I wasn't too sure if I'd ever be able to run the 3.11 miles. But now I can and I did it in 32 minutes and 30 seconds. I'm blessed to have two great friends to run with, Kara and Melissa. They have helped to keep me motivated and I owe them my deepest thanks. You can go here to read more about Kara and her success! Be sure to congratulate her too!

That is sooo awesome my friend! I am so proud of you!! You worked so hard to get ready for that race! You are my hero!! I totally would have been there with my pom poms and a banana split waiting for you at the finish line! And that is an awesome time too! You should be sooo proud of yourself!

Thanks you guys! This wasn't the actual race, we just ran on the course. Our race is in a week and a half. :)

wow, I can't even imagine!
Good job! I know how it feels to barely be able to run for 1 minute, and I just don't have the energy to fight to be able to run at all. I hate running, but I would like to be able to exercise.
Have a great race!
